  • 53 trials between 2/6, 2/13, 2/20, and 2/23/2019
  • 477 students from 25 high schools participated in the San Diego County Competition (26 teams competed)
  • 4 rounds of competition.  Each team competed twice – both prosecution and defense
  • 50 state and federal trial judges, magistrates, and commissioners presiding over 53 trials (some presided twice)
  • 93 attorneys volunteered as a coach
  • 200 attorney scorers volunteered to score the 4 rounds of the Competition and the Championship round                
  • 90 courtroom monitors volunteered including JusticeCorps students, law students, and paralegals from the San Diego Paralegal Association
  • Westview High School went on to compete in the Finals of the 38th Annual California State High School Mock Trial Competition in Sacramento  on March 22-24, 2019
